Sept 18: Tommy Noel Cup ABC Match, Les Mielles, 18 hole 14:30
This was again won by a disguised A team for a fourth year on the trot. Not being able to get a team together Roy and Jason helped the A team out by lending them some of theirs. The A team won by a meagre two points, well done.
Sept 17th: Clash Of The Titans
Captain Alan Cabot and Vice Roy Gallichan played their knockout tonight and Vice was six up after seven, Alan made a brief comeback but eventually went down five and three. Roy now goes on to play Tommy Noel.
In other news, Fitzy has come up with a great nickname for Martin Paton after his Accident, SHARKY ......ref. Hammerhead shark.
Embarrassing news
Have you heard the one about the man who doesn't blame his tools?
Rumour has it that one of our members, Martin Paton, was busy doing his work, and when climbing up his ladder his own hammer fell and hit him on the head. Moments later his client, who just happened to be a nurse, was found to be administering to his wound, when he fell unconscious at her feet, only to rudely come around facing a paramedic who just happened to know him! This paramedic took him to hospital where he received stiches to his head wound. Well as you can imagine this opens up all kinds of commentary, and the need for a nickname to attach, so I'm starting the ball (not hammer) rolling with MC, any other suggestions?
Aug 31st - Splash it on all over
The 2009 Splash for Cash was played in perfect Jersey sunshine today, wonderful conditions to compete in the fixture run in great fashion by society stalwart Andy "Ming the Merciless" Dingle, seemingly shrugging off his recent defeat to a golfing novice of 3 months in the Western fixture.
A tremendous £10,500 was raised for the Jersey Kidney Fund and Anthony Nolan charity, bolstered with a £1,000 bonus from the winning team "Dan and the Diddies" (Arran Eagar (38), Ali Eagar (41), Raydene Stracey(45) and Dan Hare (48)) scoring a combined 172 points, thus beating the 152 points target for the generous prize from the competition sponsors. Congratulations to Andy.
St Peter's father figure Richard Taylor is entitled to feel aggrieved having played with Dan in the Dolphin Trophy foursomes at La Moye in the morning and having seen nothing sunk other than a pint on the terrace after their enjoyable but notably unsuccessful round.
Aug 29th - Inaugural President's Trophy
Dan Hare pipped Jason Quenault for the August President's Trophy with 44 (9) points to 43 (4). Jason was on course for the victory with an awesome round, but on the last he chased the mythical 65 with a birdie putt and missed the return, ending with a superb gross 67 handing the victory to Dan's gross 71.
A well attended presentation saw recent returnee Jon Welsh proudly watch Society President Trevor Gray hand his handsome new trophy to Dan, as well as a most generous gift of a golf bag.
Overall it was a birdie blizzard with 43 birdies from the 47 competitors (JQ 5, Horgs 4, Dan 3), Jason won lowest scratch with 67, Barry Dawkins won Category 3 with 41 and Martin Paton (a most popular cuttee) won Cat 2 with 40.
Notable performances abounded, but "King" Roy Syvret's unusual 22/13 split for 35 points should not be ignored.
On to Les Orme for September; the "Race for the Pomme" is hotting up !
Results and handicaps are up to date.
Aug 25th - happy news from Kevin Stewart
"Thanks for the flowers my wife received from the golf society, a lovely gesture. Kev, fionnuala, jamie and wee matilda jane."
Congrats to Kevin.
Aug 24th - Shock loss.
This last week, a top class player became the first captain of his proud team to lose twice to their bitterest rivals.
For Ricky Ponting, read Alan Cabot - our unbeaten record against Western Golf Range smashed 6.5/5.5. Alan is now not only the first captain to lose to them but also never to have beaten them, following the drawn fixture last year. Shameful events.
Aug 18th - A's beat the B's !
In the clash no-one wanted, the A team downed the B team 3 1/2 to 2 1/2 to advance into the Condor knockout semi finals - the match is vs Devils Hole on Thursday 27th at 5:30.
Match details to follow.
Aug 16th - Love is Blind for Paton. Again.
The Blind Pairs was contested by 16 members, with the winning team being Martin Paton and Graeme A'Court - almost a father and son resemblance too.
Tony Burt was individual winner with 37 points.
Embarassing News
Vice captain Roy Gallichan, Handicap Secretary Dan Hare and our ex Captain and long time committee member Jason Quenault recently played in the Devils Hole Open. The weather was terrible but the boys finished the 18 holes and added up their Stableford points, on handing over the cards they were notified it was a strokeplay competition and subsequently disqualified!
Aug 12th - news from Down Under
A photograph reaches us from Australia of the legendary marsupials. As you can see the ones in the background keep their young in their pouches. The one in the "Hello Sailor" pose has his young one in the foreground, but seems to be keeping several cases of beer in his pouch instead.
Good cause reminder - Fine-master fitzy with mountains to climb
Bon Viveur Michael Fitzgerald has also taken up a challenge to climb a number of volcanoes in January 2010 for the Education for the Childrens Foundation and would appreciate your sponsorship towards his target of £2,000 - if you would like to sponsor him please click on the link for ease of donating www.justgiving.com/michaelsvolcanochallenge .
July 12th - Darwinian 3-volution
Tim Darwin defied the sceptics with a magnificent 19 points in the Tony Sartin 3 club challenge.
Reinforcing his reputation as the Rob Key of golf, he easily surpassed his mostly disappointing efforts in the full version of the game by edging out Mark Duckett and Chris Rayner both of whom amassed highly respectable 18 point totals.

July 6th - Open Results - Rock on Tommy
Tommy Noel has done it again by winning the Trant St Peter's Open with 47 points from his 14 handicap ! An outstanding achievement including 4 birdies on the back nine, and with his handicap being cut by 2.2 it is a feat that we can all feel good about.
Chris Raynercame second with 44 points, narrowly beating Alan Lawson on countback.
Leslie Hill won the Ladies' prize with an impressive 41 points, squeezing out Izzy McCreath with 39 points.
Jason Quenault won lowest scratch with 67, which was good enough to get him into 4th place with 43 points from his 4 handicap.
The scoring was tremendous, the average across all 124 golfers being 31.5 points. There were even those unlucky enough to have scored 40 points but be edged out of the top 10 on countback.
An equally popular win was Micky Wallser winning the trophy for lowest St Peter's member with a solid 15 points.
Sponsor Paul Horgan of High Class and Izzy McCreath won the Longest Drive, with Nearest the Pins for Barry Dawkins, Kirby Garrod, Harvey Philpot, Phil Grehan and Lesley Hill.
At the very well attended presentation Tommy produced one of his trademark horseback charges, delighting the audience and once more giving the lie to the assumption that just because you are 60 you can't behave like you are 6.
More than £500 was raised for Jersey Hospice charity on the day by the many takers of the 18th Hole hit the green challenge.
Many thanks to everyone for having a go, and to Michael Fitzgerald for manning the desk and giving up his deathly Scottish pallor in the burning sun.
The presentation was held at the St Peter's Football Club on a glorious Summer evening, followed by a delicious pig roast at the provided by Alan Porter and his team from the Splash.
The Open was a great success once more, and our thanks go to all of our sponsors especially headline sponsor Trant represented by Tony Ballantyne.

June 23 - Good causes
Firstly, John Hanley bought a 4-ball breakfast/golf with football celeb/lunch & prizes at the League Managers' Association golf day at The Grove in England on 29th September at the Le Tournoi auction. Unfortunately he can no longer attend - anyone interested should contact Jon direct. Details here. John is hoping to recoup his £2000 outlay...
Eery overtones of Tommy's auction ability there.
Secondly, the Splash for Cash will be taking place on Bank Holiday Monday 31st August at Les Mielles. The entry price is £100 per four ball, and a BBQ will be taking place at Rocco's in the evening.
A good cause, and a chance to be reunited with lost balls.
June 18 - St Peter's Village Fete
The Society is running a putting competition at St Peter’s village fete this Saturday 27th. The stall will be open from 11 am to 5 pm. Come along and say hello, and if you can spare an hour to help manning the stall it will be much appreciated.
June 11th - Bigger Come Back than Take That!!
Tommy "I'm back on it" Noel grabbed a half from an almost invincible position, needing a four foot putt to put the game to bed on the 6th for a
4 & 3 win he somehow let it all slip and had to settle for a half after losing 4 holes on the spin.
Rumours of a tour hangover were heard at the bar!
UPDATE - Tommy took it a step further by deliberately running his own clubs over in disgust. Technical fault, abuse of equipment.
2009 Tour Results - King Roy Syvret at a canter !
The 2009 St Peter's tour result is in - and Roy Syvret dominated a brilliantly enjoyable tour from start to finish.
Roy won both day 1 and day 2, and then still came in with 36 points on the final day to seal his victory, Richard Taylor winning with a tour high 39 points. Roy's scores were 38-34-36, coincidentally his vital measurements.
Speculation was rife that Roy might falter under the pressure of holding his place on the final day (including the many of us who had backed Roy G !), but a birdie on the first soon put that thought to rest.
Roy Gallichan was second 12 points back on 96 pts, with Stuart Hall third on 95 and and Dan Hare fourth on 92.
Roy Gallichan's team came first, 10 points ahead of Alan Cabot's team for an emphatic victory.
Well done everyone, and thanks go to those who made it happen including the mystery bookie. Knowing that he would take a bath if our esteemed Vice Captain were to win may have been an additional incentive...
Full results up are on the tour pages.
Best tour quote - Michael Fitzgerald at Southampton Golf Club "oh yes she has". Since this is a family website, regrettably the rest of the anecdote cannot be included.
Blackhorse Offshore May Order of Merit results
Nigel Johnson shot 2 Birdies and an Eagle to claim the May Order of Merit with 22 pts off 6 shots by a point from Gary Bayley with 21 pts (8).
Nigel also won lowest scratch score (36) and has taken the lead in the Order of Merit. On a positive note, he has been cut 2 shots just before the tour which gave consolation to the non winners.
In all the 54 entries racked up 21 birdies, impressive given that many of the rounds were played in blustery conditions.
Graeme A'Court won the silver tray with 9 points.
The scoring and presentation was made at St Peter's Football club following the annual FA Cup dinner.
Despite being more than adequately refreshed, Martin Paton was still able to spot that Tommy Noel had not dated his card. The Committee was given no choice but to disqualify Tommy, forfeiting his 6th place.
Tommy really should have known better, but can be reassured that his handicap has still been cut for the Tour starting June 4th.
June 3rd - Eve of Tour updates
Check out the teams and scores updated nightly (if we aren't too 'tired') under the 2009 Tour Section.
May 28th - Honours even B/C, tour info on site
The B and C Teams fought out a creditable 3-3 draw tonight.
Winners were (C Team)Max Delph, Richie Gallagher and Graeme A'Court, (B Team) Lol Staley, Jon Welsh and Richard Taylor.
2009 Tour info being updated, will be finished tonight.
May 27th - Overseas Tour June 4th
Tee Total Tommy installed as one of favourites for forthcoming Overseas Tour. Following in the foot steps of last years winner "Pepsi Max" Tommy has succumbed and changed his drinking habits dramatically.
Keep up with tour results on the website.

Your suggestions for a suitable location for this landmark event are wanted...

May 11th - Any Old Irons ?
In a credit crunch-beating innovation, there is a new section to the website "Golf Gear For Sale".
If you have old clubs etc for sale let us know and we can add them to the site.
Chris Rayner has started the ball rolling with two drivers - coincidental I am sure.
Please contact the vendors direct, and St Peter's accepts no liability etc for conditions of goods.
Apr 29th - St Peter's defeat Devil's Hole
Tonight St Peter's beat Devil's Hole 6-4 to retain the cup.
It was a close fought affair with some remarkable golf, none more so than in "Pepsi" Tommy Noel's match where the fifth hole was conceded to an eight after an exhibition of shanking by both parties.
Apr 26th - Le Tournoi Ashes/Food events
SPGS member John Hanley, in his guise as organiser of Le Tournoi, alerts us to two upcoming events being held in a venue in Les Jardins De La Mer.
Firstly on 11th June there is an Ashes dinner featuring many past stars hosted by John Inverdale.
Then, on 12th June there is an afternoon with Marco Pierre White where guests will enjoy a lunch designed by Marco, then enjoy listening in as Marco relaxes with Claire Thorn.
In both cases VIP packages are available, and more information is available from John or Christine Holmes on 07797 725019/CHolmes@ProfilePM.com.
Apr 25th - Tony Burt claims C I Engravers April Order Of Merit
Pugnacious Tony Burt claimed the C I Engravers April Order Of Merit winning the Strokeplay over Les Mielles South with an excellent net 33 shots, gross 36 less his 3 handicap.
He pipped Richard Streets and Max Delph by a flat nose on countback.
In an excellent show, he pipped fellow pugilist Paul Horgan to the Scratch prize on countback.
For every winner there is a loser, and Mark Duckett claimed the silver tray for worst score present with his net 47 (a mighty 54 gross).
Handicaps have been updated.
Apr 25th - Fine master fitzy with mountains to climb
Bon Viveur Michael Fitzgerald has also taken up a challenge to climb a number of volcanoes in January 2010 for the Education for the Childrens Foundation and would appreciate your sponsorship towards his target of £2,000 - if you would like to sponsor him please click on the link for ease of donating www.justgiving.com/michaelsvolcanochallenge .
April 14th - White Horse fixture added, May12th
We have a new 8 man fixture arranged to play the White Horse golf society - meal to follow, Les Mielles South, 17:57.
This has been added to the reformatted Season 2009 section.
April 5th - Captain vs Vice Captain
Order was restored this afternoon at Les Mielles where, on a glorious early Summer's day, the Captain's team of 12 good men and true triumphed over the Vice Captain's select.
The overall score was 407 points for the Captain vs 396 for the Vice Captain.
In the individual scores, Micky Wallser came in third with 39 points (17 hcap), Martin Paton took second with 40 points (17) with Dan Hare running out winner with an inflation-busting 43 points (11).

March 28th - Wheatlands Order of Merit, Bargain Golf Balls
John Whittaker took the March Order of Merit with a fantastic 23 points including 1 birdie.
This means that John leads the Order of Merit and is joint Birdie King, positions that seasoned observers believe that he is unlikely to relinquish.
With Nigel Gillard coming in second, this is a strong argument for St Peter's role in fostering young golfing talent in Jersey.
A very well attended AGM was held at St Peter's Football Club, hearing amongst other things that the society raised over £4,000 last year between Jersey Hospice, Cancer Research and the Prostate Cancer Research Fund.
March 6th - La Moye Classic, VC aiming for sweep
A highly successful La Moye classic was held on Friday.
It was a beautiful day for golf, reflected in some excellent scoring.
A fantastic meal at La Moye was followed by a Tantivy ride to town, where both the Ha'Penny Bridge and the Royal Yacht Hotel benefited from St Peters members' legendary munificence.
Back to the golf, the winner of the famous Green Jacket was Vice Captain Roy Gallichan with an excellent, handicap busting 39 points, followed on 37 points by Nigel Johnson and Clive Hansford, Nigel just coming out on top on countback.
The winning team scored an excellent 137 points between them - all of Roy Gallichan, Mark Duckett, Edde Burns and Barry Dawkins beat 30 points, an incredible effort.
Second team on 122 points were Colin Streets, Clive Hansford, Colin Pack and Micky Wallser.
Nearest the pins were won by Jack A'Court (1st hole, 19' 9") and Mark Duckett (12th hole, 4.7m).
As we know, for every winner there is a loser, and bringing up the rear this year were Roger Pugsley in both individual and team scores, accompanised by Jason Quenault, Rob Gaskell and John Hanley.
January 22nd 2009 - Email from Jon McCulloch
Dear Committee & Fellow members of SPGS
Through your generosity and let's be honest some of our stupidity (thanks to Michael Fitzgerald, Fines Master!) we raised £1,106.00 at the Graeme A'Court Christmas event at Royal Jersey on December 5th 2008.
I would like to extend a massive thank you to you all for choosing to donate it to Prostate Cancer Research, through the Movember Charity.
Thanks also to the Royal Jersey for hosting us once more - a great day all round.
I will be growing my 'tash again this November and would urge you all to get involved, it is a great laugh and raises much needed awareness for Men’s Health.
I can just see it now, the boys in red resplendent in their facial hair in the November medal!
Thanks Again & Happy Golfing!
Jon
(Reminder - here is how handsome Jon looked sporting the 'tache...)

January 17th 2009 - Alan Cabot wins Les Mielles January medal
Congratulations to our glorious leader, Captain Cabot, who won the January medal with the following card ;

And it would be a heartless society that would not also commemorate this tremendous feat of scoring, so in recognition of this round we will be making a handicap adjustment for Alan. Exact new handicap to be confirmed at the next committee meeting.
...and a Happy New Year
Wishing everyone a successful 2009, and may our golf continue to be as successful as it has been in 2008 !
Merry Christmas to all St Peter's members !
May you all find a present like this in your stockings.
When Santa shows Tommy Noel what he has got in his sack it is likely to be a handicap cut.
26th December - Boxing Day Hustle
We are holding a Boxing Day hustle to walk off the over indulgence of the previous day - anyone wishing to play should contact Shammy.
We have booked for 12 persons, starting at 8.00am
13 December - Any Other Business
Order of Merit champion Gary Bayley apparently failed to clear the ladies' tee at the Royal and failed to either pay a fine or take his trousers down. Speculation that he was shy to show the world his Cristiano Ronaldo Speedos has been denied.
Gary should bring an extra tenner to the next fine-eligible event...
Rumour is stong that guest Keith Bailey may have committed a similar misdemeanour and of course I am sure he will also bring along a donation at the next event he can make.
6 December - the First Noel
The St Peter's 15th Anniversary climaxed at the Royal Jersey Grouville yesterday with a record turnout of 56 players for the Graeme A'Court Christmas Competition.
In blustery but sunny conditions some excellent golf was played, with a horseless Tommy Noel winning the singles with 33 pts on countback over both Mark Taylor and Dave le Monnier.
Roy Gallichan's team pipped Jason Quenault's team on countback with 100 points to take the team competition.
In other news, new member Keith Bailey was a popular returnee despite his disqualification for a wrongly signed card, and Martin Paton was spotted in a state of some confusion outside the bus station while clearly attempting to understand his descent from 9&8 victor over Tommy Noel to settling for Longest Drive.
Dan Hare won nearest the Pin, and Brian de la Croix was delighted to be taking home a sack of spuds for his sterling last place 15 pts.
A fantastic day was had by all, many thanks to Royal Jersey for their hospitality ,and see you all next year.
Full results to follow soon...
Now, all together...

30 November - Royal anticipation builds
As the season ending climax approaches, several St Peter's members have been finalising their game and honing their scoring skills.
"The Auctioneer's Friend" and keen walker Tommy Noel is one such, newly returned from warm weather training.
On Sunday he and sidekick Mark "Shammy" Duckett put in some valuable preparation by getting at least one half before losing by the almost theoretically impossible scoreline of 9 & 8 to Martin Paton and Jon Hanley.
Keep up the good work !
Please note that there may still be a couple of spots available at the Royal - please check with Terry Ward.
24 November - Mr St Peter's November hunk revealed !

18 November - End of Season Award Special
In a dramatic end to the Order of Merit season, Gary Bayley won the last
Order of Merit and pipped society stalwart Jon Welsh and long time leader Jason Quenault to the title. Gary's score of 21 Stableford points was enough to win on countback, Jon Welsh's 20 pts just falling short.
Jason Quenault won the Birdie King award with 9 birdies for the year.
In a popular move, Graeme A'Court was awarded the "Clubman of the Year" award for his stoic recovery from falling off a roof.
Full speed ahead to the Royal Jersey Christmas competition !
15 November - Season's End !
So, the scores are all in and the presentations to be made in a matter of
hours in the gala presentation at Jersey's prestigious and glamorous Pomme D'Or Hotel.Could Jason Quenault hold off the onslaught from the pack, could Jon Welsh shrug off his bridesmaid tag, these are some of the questions to be answered any minute now...
9 November - Roy Gallichan is St Peter's champion !
Newly installed Vice Captain Roy Gallichan downed the the Vilamoura Ironman Shane Whitwell 4&3 to claim a deserved St Peter's Championship today at a wild and windy Les Mielles.
Roy launched his three-birdie blitz starting on the First and taking him to 4 up after 4.
Shane never got closer than two down, but performed creditably to keep the game alive despite Roy holing increasingly outlandish putts.
Roy finished the match at the 15th with a fine par putt, and as the ball dropped his trademark grin creased his newly permatanned face in relief and jubilation.
The presentation will take place at the annual dinner on Saturday 15th - could all members please confirm your attendance with Terry Ward if you haven't already got your names down ?
29 October - Countback king Pepsi takes it to the Max
"Pepsi" Max Delph continued his excellent run of form to win the October Order of Merit with a net 32 shots (1 over gross 37 less 5 handicap) over Les Mielles South, pipping Jon Welsh and John Whittaker on countback in a field of 44 entrants.
Max also scooped the lowest Gross in a double birdie blitz, despite dropping two shots over the last three holes.
His antics - ( surely he only needs to pip a couple more Committee members to get retrospectively blackballed ? ) - ensure that he now has a career low handicap over 9 holes of 4.4, so Congratulations to Max !
The overall Order of Merit is now set for an exciting climax, with leader Jason Quenault engaging reverse with only 1 point giving a total of 83 points.Jon Welsh and Gary Bayley are now only 5 points behind, with Captain Alan Cabot and Dan Hare moving up the field and theoretically able to snatch the prize.
In surely the first comparison between St Ouen's and Brazil (other than now-defunct nightclubs and thong-sporting Farmer's regulars) long time front runners Jason Quenault and Lewis Hamilton will both be desperately watching their rear view mirrors to guess where the attacks will come from.
The final leg of the Order of Merit takes place between Sat 8th and 15th November, culminating in the Annual Dinner and Prizegiving at the Pomme D'Or Hotel including celebrating the St Peter's B Team, winners of the Condor Ferries Society League 2008.
Jack A'Court was the lucky recipient of the £10 members' draw, topping off a great day with his belated St Peter's Open handicap cut.
The Order Of Merit, Birdie King and Handicap Lists are now up to date as at the October Order Of Merit.
14 October - Captain Cabs triumphs in Les Mielles Handicap Championship
Congratulations to Alan on his achievement, very well done !
This report is stolen from the LesMielles.net website, and I didn't make the consecutive birdie bit up either ; Congratulations to Alan Cabot in claiming the title of
Singles Handicap Knockout Champion.
On Sunday 12th October Alan Cabot played against Graeme Robertson who was also a first time finalist and Alan came out on top with a fine 2 & 1 win.
Graeme had some great wins on his way to the final including knocking out Shane Fitzsimons and John Beattie and in the Final was 1 up for most of the match however, the tables turned when Alan knocked in consecutive birdies at 15th & 16th.
1st October - John Hanley strikes back !
John has broken his silence on the yachting jibes (see below) by forwarding this picture showing the victorious crew in Le Tournoi sailing challenge (for more info click here). John is far left (nice sandals, sailor !), and whilst it may appear that he is about to perform silver service for the winning crew he assures us that he was in fact part of the crew.
The Le Tournoi Golf Challege returns at Royal Jersey in 2009.
29th September - Max Delph claims Plate
Last year's captain Jason Quenault received his dog's licence yesterday, Max Delph downing him 7 and 6.
Jason assures us this was over 18 holes.
Congratulations to Max as his Indian Summer continues, although the wisdom of giving a beating to your "C" team captain is questionable.
27th September - Simon "Lazarus" Chard tames Les Ormes
In his first game back from injury, Simon Chard scored an excellent 21 Stableford points (and one of the only 4 birdies to be recorded) to win the September Order of Merit, edging out Richie Gallagher with 20 points for second.
Captain Chaos himself Alan Cabot won best Scratch score.
In the Order of Merit race, Tommy Noel ssecured 8 points to narrow the gap to Jason Quenault to just 6 points.
Special mention for Roger Small who scored 9 of his 13 points on the first 3 holes...
Order of Merit, Birdie King and Handicaps are now updated.
27th September - Roy Gallichan unveiled as new Vice Captain
Roy will be Alan's Vice Captain for 2008 and 2009, taking over as Captain in 2010.
Congratulations Roy !
19th September - Tommy Noel ABC Match
The A Team proved that when they field a full side they can be a match for anyone as they won The Noel Cup from the ever consistent Condor Ferries K.O. Cup Winners, The B Team with the C Team in a distant third!
Both the B Team and C Team cited fatigue and felt that if like the A team they too had fallen even before the knockout stages they would have given a better account of themselves.
Still, well done to the winning team below ;
(Editor's note - the grinning player 3rd from the right is the missing man from the Rat Pack photo now in the France 2008 Slideshow - any more photos, please forward !)

News is that John Hanley is back on his yacht.
Just in-Rumour has it, that since the B team won the Condor Ferries league, John Hanley has been sitting on a yacht in the middle of the Channel. I know you were the only team member to lose mate but snap out of it, if you need someone to talk to Tommy Noel has offered to listen, come home soon mate. X
15th September - "Pepsi" Max Delph triumphs in Caen
Max Delph won the St Peter's Calvados Classic with an excellent cumulative 99 points over the three days, pipping Dan Hare on countback, with Graeme A'Court 3 points back completing a "C" team clean sweep.
Nigel Johnson claimed Le Roi de Rat with a very steady 60 points.
Excellent courses, golf and company - Trigger footage and more information to follow.
Please see the France Scores page for the full scoring breakdown.
Please note that tour nicknames are now being updated - let us know if you have further suggestions.
If you have any tour photographs or videos to share, they would be gratefully received.

31st August - "B" Team Win Condor Ferries KO Trophy
The "B" team retained the Condor Ferries K.O. Trophy for the society with a superb 5 - 1 win over Wheatlands. Excellent wins by Lol Staley (8 & 7) and Richard Taylor (6 & 4) set up the team and this was followed by victories from Mark "newly wed" Duckett, Tommy Noel and Eddie Burns. Congratulations to the whole squad on a great end to the season.
30th August - Marital Status Update !
Congratulations to Mark "Shammy" Duckett and Mary who tied the knot at Gleneagles, Perthshire. Well done from all of us at St Peter's !
